Executed in the "Rocaille" style, Marly is chiseled with fine plant illustrations that seem to embrace the objects’ handles with deliberate grace and symmetry. The chiseling technique animates the cutlery giving the sense that at any moment, the plants may extend beyond the confines of the frame of the flatware and other objects. Marley, which refers to a past historic palace owned by Louis XIV outside  of Paris, has been one of the most detailed and ornate patterns in the Christofle’s catalog since it was created in 1897. The set has five pieces a dinner knife and fork, salad fork, dessert spoon and tea spoon. High quality silver-plate.
All Christofle products arrive beautifully presented in their signature packaging. Silver ware can is dishwasher safe, but is better washed withour stainless steel  or crystal in the cycle.
